本文介绍了有限元基计算机模拟技术在美国金属成形中的应用。包括大塑性递增变形分析程序ALPID、金属成形工艺的一般模拟内容、工艺条件及参数对金属流动的影响及模拟技术的发展动向。

This paper introduces the application of the FEM-based computer simulation to metal forming in the U.S.A. It involves the FEM-based ALPID code, the common simulation of metal forming processes, the influence of the process parameter and condition on metal flow, and the new developing tendency of the simulation.
