Based on the empirical formula, a two-factor optimal blank design method for the smaller corner dimensions of shallow square boxes without flanges was proposed, and the height mean square error of the key points was set as the objective function. Each factors and levels by the Dynaform software was simulated, and according to the objective function,the optimal level was determined. The results of simulation and experiment show that the data of them are coincident. The fluctuant areas of the height in the corner of the product is reduced obviously by two-factors optimal blank design method, and the shallow drawing forming effect of the product is improved well,which plays an important role to the similar products as a reference.
