Abstract:
A generalized formula for determing the blank radius of any possible shape of revolution in deep drawn parts was presented. The difficulty in calculating the center of gravity of arcs was reade-red unnecssary; instead, the generalized o rmula can be usad to calculate the ce-nter of pressure as usually needed in blanking. A simplified formula and hyperbolic grapb were also presented forh e determination of blank radius of deep drawn parts of revolution.
