Abstract:
Based on Stamp Tool Kit in PAM-STAMP 2G program,a special sheet metal stretch-forming simulation system was developed for draping forming.Encapsulating complex preprocess setting,this system could simulate the bending,stretch forming,trimming and springback process over the reconfigurable compliant tooling.There were practicability and reliability in pre-estimating the qualities of forming parts.Using the simulation system,the rule of diffirent interpolator thicknesses on suppressing dimples in sheet metal was analyzed.The results show that the thickness over 25mm can realize the aim of restraining the surface defects on a skin part which is stretchformed over reconfigurable tooling with pins of 30mm×30mm cross section.
