Abstract:
The mechanistic study of high finned steel tube deformation is laggard in present situation. A three-dimensional entity model of the roll was established by Pro/E. The three-dimensional rigid-plastic finite element method and DEFORM-3D analysis software were used to numerically simulate the forming process of high finned steel tubes. The stress and strain distributions were analyzed by this simulation. Finally the forming process rule of high finned steel tubes during skew rolling was concluded. The rule provides theoretical basis for further study of skew rolling high finned steel tubes.
