Abstract:
The course of cross wedge rolling forming of the worn shafts was simulated by means of FEM software-DEFORM-3D.For different die convex edge's slope raises,there were five different results of the simulation.Each tooth's height and screw-pitch of the rolled part were measured and their relative errors were gained by calculation,the charts of the relative errors were drawn by means of Origin.The comparison shows that the suitable the die convex edge's slope raise can improve the forming effect.If the slope is too large,the rolled part's instantaneous error will increase and if the slope is too small,there will be a bad error accumulation in the forming process and it is also difficult to forming integrated tooth's shape.
