Abstract:
Generalized modular design was applied to finite element analysis of pre-stressed frame of hydraulic press.Concepts of generalized finite element modules and its interface were proposed.Methods of building database of finite element modules,assembling integrated finite element model from database and applying pretension load in ANSYS software were presented.Three program modules for assembling analysis model from generalized finite element module database,applying pretension loads and applying guide constraints were created with ANSYS parametric design language.At last,finite analysis of pre-stressed frame of 45MN hydraulic press was given as an example to present the process of generalized modular design,which could guide the design of similar press.
