Abstract:
In order to study the effect rules of the technological parameters on the central defect of the heavy section shrinkage twice cross wedge rolling axis accessories,the experiment of twice cross wedge rolling was carried out.A series of area data of the centre holes inside the mill bars under different technological parameters was gained.The effect rules of the forming angle on the areas of the centre holes was found out using MATLAB to analyze the data: when one of the two wedge forming angles α1 and α2 is small,the hole area reduces obviously along with the increasing of the other wedge forming angle.The extent of α2 is a little bit larger than that of α1.This result can be a reference for designing the moulds and rolling mills.
