Abstract:

Using elastic-plastic straightening theory,the straightening process was analyzed,and the relationship between of diameter,diametrical error and straightening reduction rate was studied by the theoretical calculation.Analysis results indicate that the linearity after straightening is independent of diametrical error,and straightening effectiveness is improved by increasing diameter,and optimum relative reduction rate are normally between 0.64-0.77,which is in conformance with the experimental results well.The result provides an optimal selection method of straightening reduction rate and theoretical basis for improving straightening precision and selecting optimal straightening process.
