Abstract:
The forming theory of rolling thread shaft in cross wedge rolling and ascertaining tooth height of die is important to die design.Provided that when parts were processed,the metal volume theory was kept invariable,the tooth height of die and the roller diameter initial value were calculated by math integral.Thus the type of die groove was designed.Using the finite element DEFORM-3D software to simulate the rolling process,better perfect trapezoid thread shaft was processed.The result validates the feasibility of rolling thread shaft in cross wedge rolling whose die is designed by using the tooth height value,which provides the theoretical foundation and reference worth for farther research.
