Abstract:
At present,the simple bending process can not solve the problems during the machinery manufacture.A stretch bending process was introduced using stretch bender additional tensile to do the theoretical analysis of the residual stress produced in stretch bending.The obtained stretch bending force might be smaller than the material yield stress.It is proved that the plate inner layer stress added value is not big without considering the plastic distortion of the additional stretch.The inner layer stress is increased almost by 2 times after stretching and bending.The main problems of spring back and large bending radius for ordinary stretch bending were solved to make the bending process to be applied more widely in the field of machinery manufacture.
