Abstract:
Based on elastic-plastic FEM simulation technology,the simulation of cold extrusion process for involute spline of transmission by MSC/Superform was introduced.Provided that the parameters of billet diameter,die entrance half angle and working load of die were optimized,GTi50 was selected as die material,and the influence on extrusion process with different die structures was compared.Furthermore,integrating the calculation method of traditional combined die,the optimal parameters of die structure were obtained.It is shown by process tests that the cold extrusion process and die design are reasonable and the results of numerical simulation and analysis are correct.
