Abstract:
Aimed at forming defect which is probably occurred in a automobile right side-frame inner panel stamping formability process, this text makes some analyses, compares and summarizes out definite law in several importance material property parameters such as, hardening modulus n, yield strength σs, tensile strength σb and anisotropic parameter r which affect the stamping formability by numerical simulation technology. Then, on the occasion of guaranteeing product quality, we can use ST14 steel in stead of ST16 steel whose price is higher in order to reduce the production cost for better industrial production.
