Abstract:

For modeling the flow stress of Magnesium alloy sheet during warm forming,warm tensile test with magnesium alloy AZ31 are carried out in a temperature range of 200℃~350℃,strain rate range of 0.001s~(-1)~0.1s~(-1),flow stress behavior of AZ31 magnesium alloy sheet during warm tensile is studied in this paper.The mathematic model about the flow stress of AZ31 magnesium alloy sheet during tensile test is developed by modifying and analyzing Fields-Backofen equation,the flow stresses calculated by the present formula give a good fit to the measured ones before the peak value of the flow stress.The mathematical model which contains a softening item s is calculated here,compared to the new Fields-Backofen model,this model approaches more closely at the soften state of the flow stress.The mathematic models studied in this paper can be used to guiding the forming of magnesium alloy sheet, and prepare a foundation of finite element analysis of flow stress.
