Abstract:

Based on the meshless method principle including the moving least square approximation and integration with finite element background mesh,the metal sheet forming process is simulated and the penalty approach imposing essential boundary conditions is used to solve the contact-friction problem.Some conclusions are obtained: Compared with FEM,reasonable results are showed in Element Free Galerkin Method,which provides a new approach to study the metal sheet forming simulation.
