The stress distribution of the blank center is analyzed by finite\|element simulating LZ forging. The critical value of tool width ratio when the axial tense stress turns to compressive stress under given reduction ratio and blank width ratio is obtained; The critical value of blank width ratio when the transverse tense stress turns to compressive stress under given reduction ratio and tool width ratio is obtained too. The rational processing parameters of tool width ratio, blank width ratio and reduction ratio must match.
