Abstract:
Taken a small reduction gear as an example,based on the principle of restrained distributary,precision forging process of spur gears was studied by the method of numerical simulation and physical experiment.Through the analysis of the influences of the blank aperture size to spur gears forming process on small mandrel restrained distributary and lugs distributary the optimised processes of improving filling and reducing load were determined.For the small mandrel distributary in the form of movable container,and the blank size is of 38 mm(diameter),16 mm(aperture),27.3 mm(height) and lugs distributary in the form of fixed container,and the blank size is of 38 mm(diameter),18 mm(aperture),25.5 mm(height).From the curve of load and stroke in the movable container of small mandrel distributary,the experiment results are commendably in accordance with the simulated results.
