Abstract:
In order to obtain some suitable process parameters of a drawer rail in roll forming,the analysis and calculations for the middle slide component of a product were completed using the method of combining theoretical calculation with finite element method simulation.The results indicate that 10 forming passes are needed for roll forming.The roll forming angles(θi) between bottom navigation and S vertical wall in different forming passes are 23°~118°.Applying simulation results to production practice,forming pass precision can meet the requirements of the roll forming.
