Abstract:

In view of present problem that interior information of H\|beam in multi-pass hot rolling process is not clear enough, an integrated simulation system was built based on solver of ABAQUS. The system could be used to simulate and analyze distribution of stress, strain, and temperature for workpiece in every pass of hot rolling, furthermore, problems to previous simulation systems that include complicated jobs in pre-processing, difficulties in re-meshing of inter-pass, and inconvenient information extraction in post-processing could be solved effectively with the system, which makes the analysis procedures to be automatic. Take the analysis in the first pass and the inter-pass between the first and the second of H400×200 for example, the system is verified reliably.
