Abstract:

Simulation model of continuous extrusion production line was established using Flexsim simulation software. Based on the analysis operation results of simulation model, the optimization schemes, such as cleaning equipment optimization, cutting process optimization, necking process optimization and mould improvement were put forward. Adopting the optimization schemes, the balancing rate of extrusion production line increased to 71.48% from 56.52%, the output increased to 3000 m from 935 m. The results show that the optimization schemes can tackle the problems of imbalanced production line and low equipment utilization, and improve the production efficiency of enterprises.
