Abstract:

According to the processing characteristics of getting rectangular holes of the cylindrical part with prefabricate-holes after forming, the blank with prefabricate-holes of sector initial shape was designed. The theory analysis and numerical simulations by using ETA/Dyanform were employed to investigate the mechanical mechanism of the deep drawing process, and to analyze the influence on metal flow by different friction coefficients and blank-holder forces. The results show that the existence of prefabricate-holes destroys the integrity of the blank, the material flow around the hole has changed dramatically, the homogeneity of the deformation as well as metal flow are greatly improved by changing the friction coefficient and the blank-holder force, and the process parameters which will be helpful for deep drawing and promoting the quality are found.
