Abstract:

For the characteristics of strong vibration, high temperature and dust in the forging scene, a kind of displacement measurement system based on eddy current displacement sensor was designed to solve the problems of forging size online monitoring. The pluralities of equidistant grooves were processed as scale in vertical direction on the hammerhead side and eddy current sensor probe was installed on the groove position in the frame. The hammerhead displacement was calculated by output voltage signal in the process of hammerhead movement. Using Ansoft Maxwell to simulate the program, the feasibility of the program was established by the characteristic of magnetic field on the surface of groove scale. The mathematical model of displacement measurement was established through experiments on the processed metal plate. Experimental results show that the program is feasible and the accurate position measurement can be realized in this system.
