Abstract:

Taking the proportionally controlled RX series radial piston pump as an investigation objective, the mathematical model of theoretical instantaneous flow rate based on constant and variable eccentricity was established. Through MATLAB-Simulink modeling and simulation analysis, the influence rule of  piston numbers, stator radius and other structural parameters on instantaneous flow rate was developed and the instantaneous flow rate characteristics under typical variable form were analyzed. Then, the existence of flow dead zone in process of displacement change was revealed. The study results show that high precision speed and position control is realized by using the system which adopts proportional variable radial piston pump as the main control component.
