Abstract:

 The rotary forging technology and orbital forging press were briefly introduced, and aiming at the problem of frame vibration caused when swinging motion is achieved for rotary forging machine, the finite model of frame for T200 rotary forging machine was founded. The frame mode was modal analyzed and calculated by Abaqus,and the first ten inherent frequencies and corresponding vibrations were extracted,then parts be easily to vibration and the reasons for each modes were analyzed in turn. The results show that the main problems for frame vibration are the reduction of frame model frequency for stiffness unbalance of up and down columns and local vibration and noise produced by using large area panels. According to the analysis results, the frame structure was improved,including increasing the stiffness of down column and adding ribs or be directly cutted out without affecting the stiffness for the large area panels parts,which enhances the dynamic characteristics of frame, reduces the local vibration.The improved frame modal frequency is increased by 16%.
