Abstract:

Flow stress and friction factor were studied by rod-rod combined extrusion based on inverse analysis. Material parameters in metal forming simulation process were determined by finite element method and optimization inverse analysis algorithm. The simulation data and experiment data of load-stroke curve and ratio of up/down rod height of rod-rod combined extrusion were compared by inverse analysis technique to determine the real flow stress and friction factor in the extrusion and deformation process. The effectiveness of the inverse analysis algorithm was tested by extrusion experiments, and inverse analysis methods were used to modify the flow stress curve. The high precision and the friction factor in the extrusion experiment process are acquired after two corrections.
