Abstract:

 In order to change the current manual pushing and pick-off methods which are of low degree of automation existed in the production of blanking die for sheet metal, the structure design of blanking die for sheet metal was researched. The design process of blanking die was explained from the aspects such as determination of process program, calculation of die structure size, calculation of blanking force and so on. On the same bases, the automatic feeding and pick-up devices of a new type of blanking die were designed. The simulation of blanking process was carried out by function of motion simulation using 3D software. The results show that the full automatic production of processes including feeding, positioning, stamping forming, pick-up and others during blanking is realized by design of new type automatic blanking die. The efficiency and complete automation of stamping production are greatly improved and achieved respectively by this design.
