Abstract:

The design process of blank holder of automobile panel was analyzed and studied. Starting from the process requirements and based on the idea of the least squares method, the quantitative evaluation method for quality of blank holder was proposed by using evaluation function. And the practical algorithm for the optimal solution of evaluation function was given, then a quantitative optimization for regular type of blank holder was achieved.The feasibility of algorithm was verified in system PDCAPP based on UG/NX.On the basis of system PDCAPP, the program module of calculating the optimum parameters for evaluation function of regular type of blank holder was completed.Taking a cylindrical blank holder for an example, the relevant formulas and algorithms and a complete optimization program flow were given, in which annealing algorithm was used for calculating the optimal axial and gradient method was used for calculating the best fit section.
