Abstract:

 The influences of different blank holder force loading modes on rectangular box deep drawing process were researched. For the automobile spare tire plate, its 3D model was imported into Dynaform software, and the stamping process was simulated. Then, the preliminary simulation results were obtained by setting some technological parameters corresponding to pre-processing. Furthermore, through setting typical data, the related results under different loading modes for single-piece blank-holder and segmented blank-holder were analyzed. The results show that the traditional single-piece blank-holder with constant blank-holder force is simple and easy to be produced. The plate thickness change is more even during the drawing process under segmented blank-holder force. The drawing quality of the component is improved apparently by single-piece blank-holder under suitable blank-holder force.
