Abstract:

Geometry model of bars hot rolling was created by box-box-box-box-oval-round six-pass system, and the mathematical model of rolling force was established. Then, the six-pass hot continuous rolling process for 250 mm×250 mm oil pipe P110 was numerically simulated based on finite element model established by Deform-3D, and the variation characteristics of stress, strain and rolling force were obtained to verify the rationality of design system with hole shape. Furthermore, the reliability of the finite element model was verified by comparing the measured values and simulated values of rolling torque in rough rolling, and the regulation of six-pass rolling force was analyzed as well as the calculation, numerical simulation and measured results of rolling force were compared. The results show that the finite element model is   rational, and the theoretical basis is provided to ensure the quality of rolling products.
