Abstract:
In order to get a wedge-shaped long board of aluminum alloy 7A04 with good comprehensive performance, a forming process of overall rolling was put forward considering its complex shape and structure characteristics. Then, a workpiece that  met the size requirement was formed by piercing a shaped hole in the roller. Next, the proposed forming process was simulated by finite element software. Keeping the other process parameters unchanged, the change regulation of rolling force was summarized under different process parameters by setting different temperatures, angular velocities of rolling, coefficients of friction. Finally the reasonable process parameters of rolling was obtained as temperature of 470 ℃, angular velocity of rolling of 0.1 r·s-1,friction  coefficient of 0.7. The shapes and sizes of rolling pieces obtained from finite element simulation were generally the same as that in process experiment.
