Title:Pre-cutting blanking of intermediate disc based on DEFORM

Abstract:
For the intermediate disc in the automobile clutch, its finite element model was established, and the process of pre-cutting blanking was simulated by DEFORM-2D. Then, the simulated results were verified by the designed stamping progressive die, and the relationship between process parameters and quality of cross section was analyzed. The results show that the length of smooth zone for intermediate disc decreases with the increase of die clearance of blanking, pre-cutting depth and fillet radius of punch, while it increases with the increase of blanking speed. In addition, the maximum relative error between numerical simulation and experimental values is 14.9%. Therefore, the correctness of finite element simulation is verified.
