Abstract:
The stable operation of working roller in rolling mill is an important prerequisite to ensure the stability of rolling process and the quality of workpiece. The practice has proved that the vibration of working roller is complex and exists the phenomenon of coupling vibration. According to the actual working conditions, the coupling vibration models of three kinds of different working rollers were established by considering the roller offset, the hydraulic cylinder system and the rolling process. Then, the natural frequencies and the vibration response under different rolling process parameters were solved by MATLAB, and the influences of different rolling parameters on the rolling process and the interaction of each property vibration were obtained. Furthermore, the conclusion was proved by analyzing the measured signal of a F2 rolling mill in a steel mill. Therefore, the study provides a basis for the suppression of the rolling mill vibration and the optimization of rolling process parameters.
