Abstract:

Shear extrusion connection is an advanced headless rolling technology, and the device of shear extrusion connection is an important guarantee for intermediate blank connection. According to the relative motion relationship of eccentric axis and sliding pendulum rod, a device of shear extrusion connection for intermediate blank was designed. Then, the 3D model was built by SolidWorks, and the mold was designed in which the intermediate blank was horizontal when the connection was completed. In order to study the motion characteristics of the device under the solid mold, the motion process of the device was analyzed by SolidWorks Motion, and the horizontal velocities of shear extrusion edge were obtained in the conditions of the maximum and minimum distances between the upper and lower shearing planes of mold during the shear extrusion process. The results show that the horizontal velocity of shear extrusion edge for the upper and lower molds can meet the design requirements when the shear plane distance between the upper and lower molds is within 0-24.27 mm. Thus, the structural design and motion simulation analysis based on SolidWorks provide an important basis for the static analysis and machining of the shear extrusion connection device.
