Title:Serial parametric design on automatic feeding device for horse frame reaming

Abstract:

For the problem that the traditional horse frame reaming device relied on the rotation of mandrel and ring by manual operation, an automatic feeding device of horse frame reaming was proposed and designed to improve the automation degree of device. However, the automatic device was only suitable for small serial of rings. In order to meet the requirements to a greater extent, the serial parametric design system was developed. Through the system, the new reaming device was designed quickly to significantly improve the design efficiency. Firstly, based on Deform, the numerical simulation was carried out under different reductions and rotating angles, the optimal process scheme was determined, and the parameters of each series for rings were obtained. Then, through the analysis of configuration, the internal drive chain of device design was found, and the calculation formula of each basic parameter and check analysis were derived. Furthermore, based on computer technology to provide software support, the serial design of device was realized. Finally, based on CATIA software, the prototype template was established, and through the combination of parametric modeling and secondary development of CATIA, an efficient and practical computer-aided design system was developed. By inputting different parameter values, the model was driven to change, and a new model meeting the design requirements was obtained to realize the parametric design.
