The forging processes for the alternator pole at home and abroad were discussed in the paper.The new technology consisting of the heat forging and cold precision forging process and the dies for branching indirect extrusion developed by the author was introduced.The process was appied in practices.The quality of the parts and productivity were raised considerably, and the consumption of energy and raw materials and the production cost were reduced greatly, resulting in significant economic and social benefit.
