介绍了一有限元计算机模拟分析软件CAPS－Finel和它的主要功能，并给出了一些在锻造成形工艺中的具体应用例子。

A FEM simulation software CAPS-Finel is introduced and its main functions areshown. Some practical examples of its applications in forging process are given.
