The article has described substance,characteristic, methods and die types of closed extrusion-die forging, and it has enumerated the typical die construction figures of closed extrusion die forging. It has elaborated the advantages replacing closed-die forging with closed extrusion-die forging. In the end it has advanced the basic requirements of die design.
