用双折射材料薄膜测应力法是光弹法的一个发展。本文利用双折射材料薄膜测定了模具及塑性变形金属摩擦面上的剪应力分布。摩擦面上的剪应力分布不是通常所假设的均匀分布,而是线性分布。本文根据所测定的摩擦表面上剪应力的线性分布导出了圆环压缩时正应力分布;并借助于圆环压缩时尺寸的变化,给出了计算摩擦系数的公式。
