挤压速度对铝型材分流模寿命影响的模拟分析

挤压速度是影响铝型材分流模寿命的主要因素之一。不同挤压速度下,模具所受温度和压力不同,对模具寿命产生直接影响。以矩形管铝型材挤压为例,利用Deform有限元分析软件对挤压过程进行数值模拟,得到不同挤压速度下分流模温度和压力变化情况。结果表明:随挤压速度的增大,分流模各工作部位温度逐渐升高,而所承受压力则先降低后升高。探讨了温度和压力的改变对模具寿命的影响机制,指出挤压速度对模具寿命的影响表现为加速模具各工作部分的塑性变形、磨损和应力集中部位失效,以及加剧挤压模的冷热疲劳现象。

Speed is one of the main factors to affect the life of aluminum extrusion porthole die.At different extrusion speeds,mold temperature and pressure are different,and such situations have a direct impact on the die life.Taking aluminum extrusion rectangular tube as an example,extrusion process of porthole die was simulated by finite element software Deform,and the regularity for change of porthole die temperature and pressure was obtained.The results show that with velocity increases,the temperature of porthole die working parts gradually increases,and the pressure reduces at first than gradually increases.The mechanism of temperature and pressure change affecting the die life was studied.It is pointed out that the influence of extrusion velocity affecting die life can accelerate plastic deformation,wearing of porthole die working parts and failure of stress concentration parts,and also can intensify the heat and cold fatigue phenomenon of porthole die.
