对热锻模具失效型腔的疲劳层及裂纹进行碳弧气刨和打磨清理,将模具预热450℃保温10 h,采用Ф4.8 mm的EUREKA电焊条,用200 A左右直流电对型腔进行堆焊修复,之后进行450℃保温3 h、随炉缓冷到室温。将模具进行回火,550℃保温10 h、炉冷至200℃,再取出模具、用保温棉全部盖住模具缓冷至室温,按同样回火工艺进行第2次回火,型腔的堆焊层表面硬度51~52 HRC。上述工艺能提高模具型腔热强度、热硬性和热疲劳性,延长模具寿命。

Carbon arc air gouging and sanding cleaning was conducted to the fatigue layer and crack of the invalid cavity of the hot-working die,the mould was warmed up to 450 ℃ for 10 h,then overlaying welding repair was performed using DC of 200 A and EUREKA electric welding rod with the diameter of 4.8 mm,subsequently,heat preservation was done in 450 ℃ for 3 h before slowly cooling it to room temperature in the furnace.Furthermore,the mould was tempered by heat preserving in 550 ℃ for 10 h before cooling it to 200 ℃ in the furnace.Then it was taken out,covered by heat preserving cotton and slowly cooled to room temperature,afterwards,the second temper was performed using the same temper process.The surface rigidity of the cavity's overlaying welding layer was 51-52 HRC.The above process can increase the hot strength,hot hardness and thermal fatigue performance of the mould cavity,and prolong the life-span of the mould.
