在16 t热模锻锤上锻造一批(150件)直径为Ф550 mm的行车轮时,有近3/4的锻件沿切边带出现开口分模面裂纹,并产生飞边残留及翘曲不平的叠饼状飞边。经过破裂特征分析、锻造工序追溯及模锻件分模面结构分析后发现:由于在始锻时发现模膛存在严重磨损拉痕,即在锤上进行型腔打磨,造成锻造上下模型腔错移,从而导致锻件沿分模面错移,切边宽度过大,切边凹模施加的极大的垂直力和水平力产生的合力致使切边时行车轮沿分模面向内严重撕裂。

Three quarter die forgings were broken along parting line among 150 forgings of Ф550mm traveling crane wheels forged on drop hammer of 16t.The warp flash was produced and some of them were remained after trimming.The forging procedure tracing and parting face structure analyzing were performed.The result shows that wheel breaking along parting line is caused by trimming flash.Forging offset causes error repairing pattern.The main reason is the impression offset in forging which causes bigger trimming width and force.
