It is very important to calibrate the load sensing and indicating devices(IMCO) which are used as the forging force indicating and forging machine protecting devices.The paper introduces the calibrating principle in order to provide the reliable guarantee for the safe run of the forging machine and the reasonable operation within the forging machine's capacity by the operator.
