提出了在(α+β)两相区内,通过改变断面,即采用四方断面→六边形断面→矩形断面的宽砧拔长方法转移变形体的大变形区,并结合β处理工艺,有效改善大尺寸断面TC4钛合金长型自由锻件组织均匀性的方法。这种方法能有效地破碎长径比大于3的供应棒材中条状α相,能使带有不均匀高、低倍组织的大规格棒材,改变成为低倍组织为模糊晶,高倍组织为均匀、细小的球状或短棒状α相的组织,并能使钛合金自由锻件有良好的力学性能。

In this paper,a method of improving structure uniformity of TC4 titanium open-die forgings of large cross section have been put forward as the big size bar is used.For the big size bar with slenderness ratio being greater than 3,heavy deformation upset could not be used and big prior β grains in raw stock could not be broken.When drawing out method is used through alternating tetragonal cross-section into hexagonal cross-section on broad anvil and combining β treatment,the large deformation zone in deformation body is transferred and the banded α can be broken. It makes macrostructure and microstructure of open-die forging uniform and a good tensile property at room temperature can be achieved.
