The multi-position progressive die can be used to process complex parts quickly through a progressive die ,so it is widely used in industrial production. Based on the analysis of stamping process of typical spring clinch , the design of the multi-position progressive die for spring clinch was introduced from the aspects of the layout for punching, bending, cuting, the overall structure of the die and the design of the main parts of the die. Design scheme of the progressive die was determinated. The molds took full advantage of the structural characteristics of the workpiece itself, and adopted less waste material blanking, material giving out and discharging automaticly process,which availably improved material utilization and production efficiency.
