With the rapid development of auto-industry in China, machining technologies and manufacturing levels for related auto-components, especially precision forgings are being continuously improved. To accommodate to the development of precision hot die forging technologies, it is necessary to complement and amend the old standards. Taking the reference of the technological standards in the same industry abroad and combining the domestic manufacturing level, technological capability and production status for steel precision hot die forgings, the technological specification for manufacturing the steel precision hot die forgings in every processes was worked out, including raw material control, blanking, forging, heat treatment and inspection.
