For one kind of magnesium alloy automobile wheels, the structure processing was studied. A twostep plastic forming project was proposed including combined extrusion and rigid flaring. The simple and efficient forming dies were designed for the precision extrusion experiments. The research demonstrates that the new technology has the advantages of simple process and less input in equipments and dies. The deformation resistance of combined extrusion is less than 140 MPa, and the pressure in flaring process is less than 20 kN, and which leading to the equipment tonnage and the mould size decrease obviously. The product has high dimension accuracy with uniform wall thickness. And qualified products can be obtained with a small amount of surface machining.
