The Archard wear model was added into the twodimensional axisymmetric FEM model,and the friction coefficient, thickness of feeding tube and drawing velocity were analyzed by orthogonal test. Also, the friction of both the die and the floating plug against the tube were analyzed. The results show that the importance order of wear is the friction coefficient, the thickness of feeding tube, and the drawing velocity. The die wear is worse when the friction coefficient between the die and the tube getting higher; while the friction coefficient between the floating plus and the tube is getting higher, the die wear tents to be slighter.
