Through the numerical simulation on hot spinning process of CNG cylinders, the force and energy parameters for spinning machine were derived, which lay a mechanical basis for designing the spinning machine. Moreover,the structure and the working principle of the spindle unit and the mold device were elaborated, and the numerical simulation and structure optimization on the typical parts were conducted which made the parts meet the design demand. The production practice shows that the spinning machine has the same producing efficiency with the advanced similar ones abroad, which realizes the efficient processing. The cylinders made by it have the high size precision and good surface quality, whose quality completely meet the European standards and have reached the international advanced level.
