The valve-regulated single-rod hydraulic forging press hydraulic system is very complex nonlinear systems. A simple mathematical modeling can not achieve the accuracy of the design requirements. AMESim software simplified hydraulic forging press system was used, and its dynamic characteristic was studied. Using batch operation and the genetic algorithm, the design of the PID parameters of the system was optimized, the optimal design results were got, which realizes the accurate position control of valve-regulated single-rod hydraulic cylinder control system.
