Wrinkles often appear in the circular arc in the forming of car engine oil pan QT8812. The numerical simulations of deep drawing on different blank holder forces were carried out by controlling the slope of the connectable surface with 45°,50°,55°,60°,65° respectively. Based on the above five different design schemes, the first deep drawing process was simulated with the different blank holder forces, and the optimization scheme was chosen. According to the optimal formed part, the second deep drawing was simulated, and the optimization technological parameters were explored. Comparing the results of different schemes, it is showed that the scheme of 60° connectable surface is the best under 600 kN blank holder force. Finally, the deep drawing experiment was conducted with the optimization scheme. The experimental result is close to the simulation result, and the wrinkle reduces significantly.
